TISSUE CULTURE INVERTED MICROSCOPE
The Tissue Culture Inverted Microscope (Model RS-18) is a specialized, high-performance optical instrument designed specifically for examining living cells, tissue cultures, suspensions, and biological specimens contained in Petri dishes, culture flasks, or multi-well plates.
Because the illumination source and condenser are positioned above the stage while the objectives are located underneath, the RS-18 provides the necessary working distance and clearance required to view bottom-heavy or fluid-filled culture vessels. It is an indispensable tool for biotechnology laboratories, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) centers, pharmaceutical research, and cell biology departments.
Key Features
-
Inverted Optical Design: Features an upward-facing illumination path and downward-pointing objectives to easily accommodate large culture flasks, petri dishes, and microtiter plates.
-
Long Working Distance (LWD) Optics: Equipped with specialized LWD condensers and phase-contrast/brightfield objectives to penetrate thick culture vessel walls.
-
Trinocular/Binocular Observation Head: Designed for comfortable, fatigue-free viewing with optional ports for digital cameras and photomicrography systems.
-
Large Fixed Mechanical Stage: Provides stable, smooth platform support with auxiliary extension plates for manipulating various sizes of cultureware.
-
High-Intensity Modular Illumination: Built with adjustable long-life LED or halogen light sources to ensure optimal thermal stability, preventing heat damage to live cell cultures.
